Extra Care

Our Extra Care service is provided to people at least 55 years old who need support to live as independently as they are capable in their own home within an extra-care apartment complex.

It includes a provision for care and support at all times finding the most suitable scenario to carry out this help, be it on an individual basis or in a group setting.

The extra-care accommodation is specially designed and includes helping those who have been formally diagnosed with:

  • Older adult needs
  • Dementia
  • A learning disability
  • A physical disability
  • Sensory impairment
  • A mental health condition
  • An acquired brain injury

The range of accommodation where our services are delivered includes design adaptations allowing people to maintain their independence, and help them live in their own homes, rather than be dependent on more intensive models of care.

We help people thrive, and become part of a community, promoting choice in how people live and what they do on a day to day basis

The main outcomes are independent lives, a healthy home life, as well as allowing people to have maximum control over their own lives.

We create support frameworks enabling the vital pillar of wellbeing, actively encouraging family and friends to be a major part of people’s lives, where everyone who receives our service can participate as an equal and valued member of society.
